9/7 - Essay Test Unit 2 (these are already posted under the Unit 2 tab on the right hand side)

When you have successfully logged in and changed your password, click on the "map" link on the top of the page and complete the online tutorials to familiarize yourself with the system.

After completing this you need to access the story journal tutorial as well by clicking here.  Make sure to leave your ArcGIS browser open so it will automatically sign you in.

Parents and Students,

It is great to be starting a new school year and I look forward to getting to know you over the course of this semester.  A couple things about my blog to make life easier on all of us:

1.  The hyperlinks on the right hand side are broken down by unit.  You can find all the information for that unit already posted there.  Powerpoints, videos, supplemental information, etc.  I even post essays ahead of time for the units we have essay tests.

2.  The pacing guides for each unit are very helpful if followed correctly.  There is one for each unit (listed in the unit at the top) and it will be updated prior to the beginning of that unit.  The pacing guides tell you what we will do in class, due dates, and also what students are responsible for outside of class that day.

3.  Under the general information section you can find the syllabus and scope and sequence for this semester.  If you lose it or would like an additional copy please feel free to print.

The other big piece of information that I get questions on is regarding our outside reading, Dan Brown's Inferno.  Students have 3 quizzes over the text and the last section is included in their unit 2 test.
